Step One - your handwriting style.
Is your writing good enough? We’re an equal opportunity company and have writers from all walks of life, but the one thing that unites them is good handwriting. Have a look at some examples below and assess whether you think you could be a good match.Â
When applying, please ensure you only use one cohesive style of handwriting that is your normal everyday writing style.
We rely on our writers to be forthcoming, to engage with us professionally and be reliable. We are essentially your client and you’ll be freelancing for us. So, it is important you’re able to share how much or little you can commit (we totally understand life happens) at any given time.Â
Step Two - Prepare your application.
If your handwriting meets the criteria we’re looking for, we will send you a second link for you to easily complete your enrolment. To write notecards for Inkpact all you’ll need is a lightpad and a medium nib fountain pen, we know these can be trickier to get a hold of in the United States so for now our US Scribes can also use a roller ink pen but if you already have a fountain pen even better! 🙂
If your application is successful and progresses to the next step, you will automatically receive the onboarding form via email. Just snap a photo of your lightpad and pen for the form, fill out your details and we then set up your scribe account ready to take on letter writing jobs! 🙂Â
When you write for us, you’ll be given access to the online portal so you can select and apply for jobs you’d like to work on. The bespoke stationery for each job will be sent out to you as soon as each job has been assigned to you.
As you get better at the handwriting process, you’ll become faster and the time it takes for you to complete a campaign will reduce… or maybe you’re super fast already!Â
Step Three - Apply!
You don’t need the Scribe kit items unless you are being onboarded so for your handwriting sample on your application you can use any pen/paper you already have 🙂 best of luck!
